Donna is well known as one of the winner’s of Channel 4’s Musicality. As part of the prize she appeared as ‘Mama Morton’ in Chicago (Adelphi Theatre) in the winner’s performance and was also asked to perform a duet with fellow winner, Rebecca Dent at the prestigious 2005 Laurence Olivier Awards.
Donna was then delighted to be asked back to perform ‘Mama Morton’ in Chicago for a longer run in the West End to great acclaim.
Most recently Donna has played the part of ‘Liza’ in the National Tour of Girls Night, and also appeared in pantomime at the Oxford Playhouse (‘Fairy Godmother’ in Dick Whittington).
Donna also recently had the honour of performing in front of an audience of 20,000 at the Annual Royal Air Force International Tattoo and also appeared as a soloist in the 75th Birthday concert in honour of Stephen Sondheim at the Theatre Royal, Drury Lane.
Donna’s other Theatre Credits include ‘Millie’ in Seven Brides For Seven Brothers (Gardyne Theatre, Dundee); ‘Belle’ in Little Me (Byre Theatre, Dundee); ‘Gloria Izard’ in The Open (Byre Theatre, St Andrews) and Soloist in Side By Side Songbook (Edinburgh Festival).
Her solo shows include With A Little Help From My Friends and Divas and venues she has performed at include the Usher Hall, Edinburgh, Caird Hall Dundee and the Gaiety Theatre Ayr, as well as on a Scottish Tour.
Her recording credits include Musicality – The Winner’s Album (EMI, Musical Director Gareth Valentine) and Soloist for Peace in Our Time (Dysart & Dundonald Pipe Band).
