Sue’s theatre credits include: ‘The Baroness Pandora Bellbottom’ in Cinderella; ‘Suzie’ in Wake Up Little Suzie! and ‘Molly’ in Good Golly Miss Molly! (Oldham Coliseum); ‘Karen’ in Land of the Living (Royal Court, Upstairs); ‘Gaoler’s daughter’ in Wind of the Willows (National Theatre); ‘Ruby’ in When we are Married (Whitehall Theatre); ‘Jacinta’ in The Doctor of Honour (Cheek by Jowl); ‘Dizzy Dora’ in Babes in the Wood (Gracie Fields Theatre); ‘Mavis’ in Stepping Out and ‘Carol’ in Postcards From Rome (West Yorkshire Playhouse); ‘Mary’ in How the Other Half Loves (Bolton Octagon); ‘Peter Pan’ in Peter Pan (Crewe); ‘Moth’ in Love’s Labours Lost (Royal Exchange Theatre, Manchester); ‘Dorothy’ in The Wizard of Oz (Birmingham Rep); ‘Polly’ in Beggars Opera (Bolton Octagon) and ‘Sybil’ in Me Mam Sez (Nottingham Playhouse).

Sue’s recent television work includes: ‘Lorraine’ in Strictly Confidential ITV; ‘Angela’ in Being April, ‘Jane’ in Dinnerladies, ‘Gaynor’ in Mystery of Men, ‘Mabel’ in Mrs Bradley’s Mysteries and ‘Liz Harker’ in Casualty all for the BBC.

Other television credits include: The Royal, Common as Muck, The Real Eddy English, The Bill, Heartbeat, Doctors, Coronation Street, The Index has Gone Fishing, Exclusive Yarns, In Loving Memory, Jonny Briggs and Gordon the Gopher.

Sue has done many radio plays and voiceovers. She is currently recording a new BBC children’s animated cartoon series called Harry and Toto.

When Sue’s not pretending to be someone else, she works for Tigers for Kids. A charity which takes terminally ill children flying in vintage Tiger Moth biplanes (www.tigersforkids.org).
